Quick tips
- Click any beat number below to cycle it through normal → accent → muted.
- Tap "Tap tempo" a few times in rhythm to set the BPM by ear instead of typing a number.
- Turn on "Gradual tempo ramp" (under Practice Tools) to speed up automatically over time — the header above shows the live tempo while it’s ramping.
- "Random mute" silences main-beat clicks at random, so you learn to hold a steady pulse without leaning on the metronome.
- A count-in (under Practice Tools) plays a few bars before the beat pattern kicks in, like a real band count-off — set it to 0 to skip it.

Practice Tools
Count-in and ramp bar counts follow the current time signature. Random mute silences main-beat clicks only (not subdivisions) — a classic ear-training drill for holding a steady internal pulse.
